It feels like the perfect spot… but it’s actually the fastest way to shorten their life.
❌ Why I avoid windowsills:
✅ Direct sun & heat dries petals out fast, speeds up aging and causes wilting.
✅ Temperature swings from sun to shade stress stems and blocks water uptake.
✅ Strong drafts from open windows or vents pull moisture away even quicker.
✅ Warm water speeds up bacteria growth, clogging stems so they can’t drink.
✅ Where to put them instead:
A cool, light spot away from direct sun, radiators, fruit bowls and draughts — they’ll stay fresh and beautiful for so much longer.
I want every stem I hand over to look stunning for as long as possible — it’s all part of the care we take 💛

I’ve had so many messages from couples who’ve been completely let down last minute by another florist — my heart goes out to you, truly.
But when I take the time to reassure you, hold space in my diary, and give you a price that guarantees premium flowers, clear communication, and delivery that will happen… just to hear:
“Oh but the other quote was cheaper”
We are not the same florists.
Different wholesalers.
Different quality of blooms.
Different overheads.
Different standards. And most of all — different reliability.
If you want the cheaper price that let you down once already — please go back to them.
If you want peace of mind, premium flowers, and absolute certainty I will show up for you when it matters most — I am here. But please don’t ask me to match a price that doesn’t cover the care and guarantee you deserve.
